Hello everyone!
We are looking for a Trade Marketing & Growth Specialist for our client in the Czech Republic, a manufacturer of e-liquids and vape products.
The goal of the role is to dominate the CZ vape channel (≈1,000 POS) by becoming the most recommended brand for vapers and the preferred partner for retailers.
You will work in a close collaboration with the Head of Growth, owning retail partner relationships and ensuring our portfolio is the most profitable, highest-velocity option in the market.
What professional skills are important for us?
-
Fluent Czech and English;
-
3+ years in Trade Marketing / Sales (Nicotine, Alcohol, or Energy Drinks experience is a major plus);
-
Commercial mindset: you speak the language of "stock-turn" and "margin" to shop owners;
-
The "Hunter" Instinct: you enjoy finding new distribution points and winning over skeptical owners;
-
Field-oriented approach: you build advocacy in person, not via email;
-
Hands-on experience deploying trade mechanics and retail programs;
Key responsibilities:

1. Retail Partner Success (Win with the Owner).
-
Deploy "Test & Learn" trade mechanics, including reorder rebates, tiered incentives, and swap guarantees to protect partner margins;
-
Identify "White Spaces"—new kiosks and specialty shops—and pitch the "Hero 8" listing deal to win the door;
-
Actively manage stock through the Swap Guarantee: replace slow-moving flavors within 45 days to keep shelves fresh and profitable;

2. Staff Advocacy & Brand Certification.
-
Run the 3-step "Certified" program: Education - Incentives - Recognition;
-
Conduct 1:1 "Flavor Mapping" with staff so they can recommend our brand first with confidence;
-
Manage "Zero-Chaos" sampling bundles used for staff education and customer trial at the counter;

3. Product Mix & Field Intelligence.
-
Constantly evaluate if our flavor/nicotino mix matches local store demographics;
-
Act as our primary data source, tracking competitor moves and staff sentiment to report back directly to the Head of Growth;
4. DPSM Excellence (Distribution, Promotion, Shelving, Merchandising).
-
Secure the "Golden Zone" (eye-level) and implement planograms that make us the "Default Pick";
-
Deploy counter displays and shelf strips designed to trigger behavioral conversion at point of purchase;
-
Execute reorder-linked incentives and "Recommended Pairing" bundles with popular device brands;

How you will work (The 70/30 Rule):
-
The 70% Field Logic: You spend the vast majority of your time in the field because retail advocacy is not built via email. You are the "Picture of Success" architect, ensuring our strategy survives first contact with the shop floor.
-
The 30% Strategy: You use your field data to help the Head of Growth refine our commercial levers. You are a tactical peer, not a coordinator.
-
We operate on a rapid weekly cadence. You run 2-week pilots; once we prove a margin lift, we scale to the entire 1,000+ POS network.
-
Report to the Head of Growth with a direct line to the CEO. Zero politics. Fast decisions. Maximum implementation
