Senior DevOps Engineer


   We are looking for a technically strong expert to join our client's (German-based product company) DevOps team to facilitate effective technical decisions and development on the core system, main products, pharma industry, and government-bond projects.

   Tasks:

  • Working on identity solutions for Industry 4.0 projects, e.g. health, pharma, circular economy, and human identity;

  • Designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure pieces that allow services to scale;

  • Working with engineers to ensure the core system and products reliability, scalability, and delivery of the highest quality experience to customers;

  • Being able to propose new technologies for improvement of reliability and adopt them quickly;

  • Documenting every action so your findings turn into repeatable actions - and then into automation;

  • Debugging production issues across the services at all layers of the stack;

  • Ensuring our SLAs by taking over on call-duty;


   You will fit best if you have:

  • 4+ years of experience in running solutions in production environments;

  • Strong experience with coding for infrastructure automation (e.g Terraform);

  • Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) and packaging for orchestrators (Helm);

  • Strong experience in managing and supporting applications through services in AWS;

  • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language like GoLang or Python;


   Nice to have:

  • Experience in implementing and guiding SLO driven approaches;

  • Positive attitude towards knowledge sharing within the team;

  • Enjoy interacting with people and customers and soliciting feedback;

  • Curiosity and constant willingness to develop new ideas and ways of doing things;
