Hello everyone!

We're looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager for a Czech company operating in the vaping industry.

This is not a traditional compliance role focused on paperwork and manual checks. You'll be responsible for ensuring products can be legally sold across multiple markets, managing regulatory requirements, and finding practical, cost-effective solutions.

The company already has a strong IT and AI-driven compliance infrastructure that automates much of the routine work. Your role is to own the decisions, improve the systems, and solve complex regulatory challenges.

What professional skills are important for us?

— 3+ years of hands-on experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Compliance, or Product Stewardship within regulated industries (chemicals, cosmetics, detergents, e-liquids, tobacco, flavours & fragrances).

— Strong working knowledge of CLP, REACH, and SDS requirements. Experience with TPD and EU-CEG is a significant plus.

— Practical experience preparing and submitting regulatory notifications and registrations (EU-CEG, ECHA PCN, national portals).

— Experience with product classification, SDS preparation/review, and regulatory documentation.

— Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - you find legally compliant ways to launch products rather than simply blocking them.

— Tech/AI-driven mindset: practical experience using AI tools, automation, and structured systems in daily work.

— Ability to interpret regulatory requirements directly from legal sources and translate them into business decisions.

— English C1 and fluent Czech or Slovak.

— Based in Prague or within commuting distance, with availability to work in a hybrid format.

Tasks:

— Own end-to-end regulatory compliance.

— Review product formulations, ingredients, and devices to ensure compliance with country-specific regulations.

— Manage regulatory notifications and registrations, including EU-CEG, PCN/UFI, and national submissions.

— Oversee SDS documentation, CLP classification, supplier compliance documents, and product labelling.

— Ensure timely submission of mandatory regulatory reports, including TPD, EPR, packaging, batteries, and waste reporting.

— Monitor regulatory changes, assess business risks, and identify practical, cost-effective solutions.

— Manage the compliance budget, regulatory fees, and reporting deadlines.

— Work closely with IT and R&D teams to improve compliance automation, AI tools, and internal processes.

— Support Sales and other departments with regulatory questions, product launches, and market expansion.

— Communicate with regulatory authorities and coordinate inspections or product compliance incidents.

Conditions:

— Employment type: Full-time (employment contract preferred; IČO possible).

— Work setup: Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office.

— Location: Prague, Czech Republic.

— Working hours: 8:00–17:00 CET.

What's in it for you?

— Full ownership of regulatory compliance, with significant autonomy and direct access to senior leadership.

— Work with an advanced compliance automation infrastructure: spend less time on routine administration and more time on meaningful decisions.

— Collaborate directly with IT, R&D, and business teams to develop AI-driven compliance tools and processes.

— Broad international exposure across EU and UK regulatory frameworks.

— Opportunity to influence product launches, market expansion, and strategic business decisions.

Hiring Process:

— Recruiter introductory call (15–25 minutes);

— Practical assignment based on real, anonymized compliance cases;

— Interview with the COO and CTO;

— Final decision within 24–48 hours → offer.
