Our client is a Prague-based financial services company providing accounting and financial support to Czech clients across various industries.
Due to business growth and partnership requirements, we are currently looking for an experienced Accountant who will work specifically with Czech clients and become a key part of our client's accounting team.
About the Role:
This position is focused on full-cycle accounting for Czech clients. Knowledge of Czech is absolutely essential, as communication with clients and partners will be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle monthly bookkeeping for Czech clients;
- Processing of primary accounting documents (invoices, bank statements, etc.);
- VAT reporting and submissions;
- Payroll processing;
- Preparation of annual financial statements and reports;
- Work in Pohoda accounting software;
- Communication with clients when required;
- Cooperation with tax authorities and other institutions;
Requirements:
- Upper-intemediate level of Czech (spoken and written) — mandatory;
- Proven experience in Czech accounting;
- Strong knowledge of Czech accounting and tax legislation;
- Practical experience with VAT and payroll;
- Experience working in Pohoda;
- Czech accounting courses or certification (completed in the Czech Republic);
- Ability to manage clients independently;
